Hey there! Welcome to EasygoingStudentzilla.com. My name is Shellian. I’m a college graduate working as a Primary Assistant at a fertility clinic and the founder of EasygoingStudentzilla.com. Thank you for stopping by. I am really nervous about starting the journey of becoming a blogger. Although it is sad to say, this isn’t the first time I started a blog. I’ve been toying with the idea of having a blog since I was a senior in high school. In fact, this is my second time taking a swing at blogging. My first blog was supposed to be about my journey from high school to college and all the stuff I would learn.
Sad to say but that blog didn’t go anywhere. I fell off the wagon pretty quickly due to the fact that I thought I was too busy and didn’t have time to work on a blog. At least that’s what I would tell myself. Now after graduating college and learning a lesson or two, I came to a realization. My busyness wasn’t the cause of it not taking off. It didn’t take off because I didn’t want to take the time for it. College taught me that when I want something, I have to dedicate time to do it. I can’t just decide to do it and expect it to magically find the time to do itself. I need to put in the work for it. Having this realization in mind, I decided that this year will be the year that I make the time to start and maintain a blog with the goal of sharing what I learn about finance, career, and just overall adult life with recent college graduates.
I want EasygoingStudentzilla.com to be a resource for someone who is just taking their first step out into the adult world and has little to no clue what they are doing. I know when I first graduated from college, I had no clue what to do next. I felt lost, sad, and overwhelmed that I no longer had a set path forward. I want others who are in this position and who will be in this position to know that you are not alone in this journey and that someone is going through it too!
I look forward to getting to know you all and making this a place where we can all learn, grow and conquer this thing called life.
